Random Acts of Kindness is One Size Fits All

Before being kind to others... be kind to yourself. Just as a hungry man can't feed others, if you don't look after yourself, you cannot care for another.

Also kindness is within us, it is an innate quality even babies have. This characteristic that is inherently ours must be practiced daily. Caring and Sharing leads to Joy. Nobody is taught to be kind... it is a quality given to us at birth by God.

This proves that kindness is natural and a part of us. However, this quality like a muscle needs to be exercised daily to be a part of us and a strong feature of our character.

"Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust and hostility to evaporate." ~ Albert Schhweitzer. Hence, an opportunity to be kind is an experience one should never let it pass.

When being a recipient of kindness, the natural instinct is to pay it forward and complete the circle of kindness. Unkindness or cruelty is a foreign quality, we should save ourselves from exploring it as that could also become a habit too, stealing us from ultimate happiness of serving those in need. Unkindness could lead to consequences that could break our soul and body... as we forfeit our soul to devil that entices us away from righteousness. It would deprive us  from natural delight that would help us experience pure joy and sublime happiness.

I remember the time when I had my tires stuck in snow, the neighborhood gathered together to get me out of the sticky situation. Nor can I forget how my Muslim neighbor helped me repeatedly when she saw my gas burner was open and had caught fire and when she saw water running in the back of my house, and how she always volunteered to take care of my kids when my hands were full. I don't know how I could have managed without her daily dose of kindness, kindness which expected no returns and was offered for one and only one reason which was to help a fellow human. On the contrary, if you had an opportunity to be kind and you missed that fabulous chance to be fabulous, you loose your divine power and become weaker, always regretting of missed chances.

How true are the words of Mother Teresa who said, "if you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives, be kind anyway. It's quotes like these that pave a path for us in a maze of this world.
